From Zombies to MOMbies – For A Cause

Introducing the MOMbies!

A large group of moms of all ages (who often times feel like zombies) put their hearts and heads together, got over jittery nerves and secretly learned some dance moves. They dressed up in costumes and danced to booming music to surprise their kids and neighborhood trick-or-treaters on a Halloween night to help make a difference.

What exactly are the MOMbies?

A group of moms who have a mission! We have created the phenomenon ‘dance to donate’ to raise funds for metastatic breast cancer research through the Cancer Couch Foundation*.

Have you heard about our videos?

Videos of our performances are full of love and kindness and were posted to inspire people to donate and to spread some joy as others watched the brave MOMbies dance and surprise the world.

SO, what happened next?

Last year MOMbies helped raise over $68,000, where every single dollar goes to cutting edge research. Collectively, our videos have been viewed over 14 million times!

What can YOU do?

Donate and spread the word. When people come together to support one another, powerful things can happen.  Together we can make a difference. Thank you for your generous support.

About Cancer Couch

*The Cancer Couch Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, was created by our friend, Dr. Rebecca Timlin-Scalera whose mission is to accelerate research, treatment and someday find a cure for metastatic breast cancer. Since Cancer Couch is volunteer run and privately funded, an unprecedented 100 percent of the money raised is matched and goes directly to fund metastatic breast cancer research at two cutting edge labs at the world’s leading cancer centers, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Memorial Sloan Kettering.

”Funding research for Metastatic Breast Cancer is the only way to actually end breast cancer.”
